Hi! I'm Nancy. President and Owner of Happy Home Pet Sitting.

 

In case you're wondering how I got into pet sitting, here's the story:

It all started in 2013 when a coworker asked me to watch her house, 2 dogs and 5 cats for a few days. She and her family were going to a family reunion out of state.

 

Of course, I said "YES". I'm a huge animal lover and I was more than happy to help. 

 

By August 2022, I was pet sitting on the side, but still working full-time. My first long-term assignment lasted 3 weeks that summer. Upon completion, I decided to leave the corporate world and pursue pet sitting full-time. And now, I share my love of animals with pet owners all over Shasta County.

Nothing makes me happier than spending time with a fur-baby or two. As far back as I can remember, I've always had a special bond with animals. To me, there's nothing better than snuggling with a warm, furry dog or cat. 

I have a number of clients who have become more like family. It's a privilege to grow closer to them and their pet(s) whenever they take a trip.
