Common Inquiries

I know that letting someone else take care of your pet can be difficult. To make the process a little easier, I’ve put together some of the questions I’m frequently asked. If there’s something I’ve missed, just reach out and I’ll do my best to help.

What are your services and rates?

Quick Feeds (reptiles, fish, pocket pets, etc) -- $10 per day
Walks (with no other services) -- $20 per walk, per dog
Midday drop-ins (perfect if you work long hours and your pup is inside all day) -- $25 per day/$100 per week
Drop-ins (1 hour, 2x daily) -- $50 per day for up to 3 pets; each additional pet is $15
House/pet sitting -- $75 per day for up to 3 pets; each additional pet is $25

Where are you Located?

I live in Redding, CA. But I travel to Mtn. Gate, Shasta Lake City, Anderson, Happy Valley and Cottonwood.

I don't take your pet(s) to my house...I come to you. Your pet is already stressed out enough with you being gone. It's best for them to stay home, in their own environment.

My pet needs to go to the vet. Will you take them?

Of course I will! I love your pet(s) as much as you do. I never want to see them suffer.

All I ask is that you inform the vet's office that I'll be the one bringing your pet to the visit. It's always a good idea to write a short note to the vet's office, naming Happy Home Pet Sitting as the temporary caregiver.

That way, if something goes wrong while you're gone, I can quickly get it taken care of.
